If you maintain a website focused on some aspect of Free and Open Source Software, we invite you to become an Ad Bard. Start by creating your free user account. Once approved, you will be directed to a one page form on which you fill out all the details about your website. As a member, you control how much advertisers pay per click to advertise on your website, and what advertisements appear.
Easy
As an Ad Bard member, you will be provided with a short snippet of code for each type of advertisement that you have elected to display in your website. We will provide you with simple to follow directions, and will help you if you have any trouble getting things properly set up on your website. Once properly set up, the Ad Bard Network will collect statistics about the popularity of your website and you will show up in our member directory. Within a few days, relevant advertisements will start showing up on your pages.
Open
You will be able to view all information that the Ad Bard Network collects about your website, nothing is ever hidden from you. As your users start clicking on the Ad Bard advertisements that are being displayed on your website, you will see your account credited as much as 80% of the price-per-click of each advertisement. (You will never be credited less than 40% of the price-per-click.)
Fast
The Ad Bard Network is fast. Ads are served from a global CDN, so they are loaded from a fast cache server that is physically close to each of your website visitors for optimal page loading performance. The Ad Bard Network itself is built with powerful 64-bit servers, and all logic and ad lookups are designed to happen directly in RAM utilizing memcached.
