The biggest challenge currently facing the Ad Bard Network is attracting sufficient advertisers. Much of this difficulty is because the network is so new, and few people yet realize it exists. As part our ongoing effort to draw attention to the network, we have mailed out several hundred postcards (see samples below) to select web-oriented businesses via snail mail.
Another challenge to attracting advertisers is the time it can take to develop an appropriately sized image advertisement. For that reason, the next advertisement types we plan to support will be text based, with simple online tools for creating them. We plan to deploy our first support for text advertisements in June.
